BEND & BLOOM A Journey to Deep Body Opening
A flexibility workshop series with Chiara Marradi, Aerial Artist, Contortionist and Yoga Teacher
These workshops are born from the intention to bring you the best of flexibility, in a progressive and safe way. Indeed, these workshops have been designed to cater to all levels, starting from the mastery of the foundations for flexibility, leading all the way to deep body exploration and opening.
During these three 2.5-hour workshops, you will gradually improve mobility, fluidity, and strength in a wide range of motion to tap into new experiences of body awareness.

The Program
This Flexibility Workshop series consists of 3 2.5hours classes which break down and demystify some of the most popular requests.
Each class starts with a warm up designed to strengthen and stretch the areas of the body you are working with. After the warmup, you will move through a flow, creating a journey through the different postures you will explore for that day. You will explore the mechanics and alignment of each key pose and how you can adapt them to suit your body and goals. The final part of the class will offer you a cool down with nice stretches to leave you with a relaxed body and mind.
During the first workshop on the 21st of September, you will explore :
- Hip Opening through front and side splits
- Back & Shoulder opening through the wheel
- Arm balances through crow pose
- And other explorations
During the second workshop (accessible to all levels) on the 19th of October, you will explore a combination of these openings through postures that will take your range of movement a step further :
- Hip Opening through kompas and bird of paradise pose
- Back & Shoulder opening through forearm wheel
- Arm balance through Pincha
- And other explorations
During the third and last workshop (accessible to all levels) on the 16th of November, you will keep exploring your range of motion and flexibility through deeper combinations working on different joints simultaneously throughout the body:
- King pigeon pose
- Scorpio pose
- And a few more surprises depending on your specific needs
The Experience
The classes are taught in Chiara’s signature style which combines flow with mobility and strength drills influenced by her contorsion and yoga background.
This workshop series is aiming to offer deep body opening to everyone wanting to explore their range of movement and acquire greater level of body awareness.
Under the kind and expert guidance of Chiara, you will work through deep through conditioning in order to prepare the body for these openings. Indeed, there is no flexibility without strenght, and vice versa.
Chiara has developed an incredible eye and knowledge about body mechanics and will be there to support you on your journey to flexibility. That’s the reason why, one of here greatest wish, is to render these practices available to different bodies and background, to allow all types of bodies to savor the truest taste of flexibility and mobility.
You can expect a fun, informative and playful practice which is designed to suit all levels whether you’re relatively new to these postures or are looking for something to challenge, motivate and push your flexibility to the next level.
Prerequisites
This workshop is open to all level practitioners, and does not require anyone to be more advance – Each level in the room will be able to explore with his/her own range of movement.
Nevertheless, this workshop requires the participant to not have any injury throughout their whole body. This is a deep work being done which requires all joints and muscles to be healthy and not in a healing phase from past or recent injury.

Your Teacher Chiara
Chiara blends her design, aerial arts, dance, and contortionist expertise to create a unique yoga experience. As an aerial hoop, silks, and flexibility teacher, she integrates her love for yoga with a focus on functional mobility and exploring the body’s space. Since her yoga journey began in Italy eight years ago, she has delved into asanas and the mind-body connection, enriched by her Ashtanga and Vinyasa practices. Her recent 200-hour YTTC certification deepens her expertise.
Chiara views movement as a path to freedom, whether on the mat or in the air. Her teaching merges compassion, precision, and a passion for pushing boundaries. With a focus on flexibility and fluidity, her classes are a creative exploration of shapes and movement, influenced by natural elements and visual storytelling.
